National Machinery Engineering Scholarship Recipient Testimonials

Ryan Depinet finished.jpg

“Not only did the scholarship help pay my way through college, every summer and winter break, I was able to come back and work at National. I rotated to a different department every break, so I was able to start working alongside future co-workers and understand how National machines worked while still in college. As many of my classmates were stressed out interviewing and applying for jobs during senior year, I was relaxed knowing I already had a job lined up with National Machinery.”

"The National Machinery Engineering Scholarship made my pursuit of a mechanical engineering degree possible and helped me solidify a plan for my future. Having financial assistance and knowing employment was already taken care of helped relieve a lot of stress, meaning I could focus entirely on my schoolwork and excel in my classes. This has allowed me to give back to the company in a positive way and I am honored to have been given this amazing opportunity."

"This scholarship alleviated the stress of how to afford to pay for my degree and of finding a steady career close to home. By not having to work every hour outside of class time, I was able to focus on studying, and my personal and professional development. The internship program also allowed me to build working relationships in many departments throughout the plant and baseline knowledge of our products and processes so I could hit the ground running as soon as I started full-time."
